I wondered about the importance of specific colors in Part Two. "By the time Sethe was released she had exhausted blue and was well on her way to yellow," (208). "'Then what? When you get through with blue and yellow, then what?'" (211). I'm not sure what these colors represent but I think there must be a deeper meaning to these colors because they are referred to so often. Maybe the yellow represents the yellow flowers Sethe once picked while she was a slave?
